National Women's Football: Five teams dispute championship in São Vicente

Africa-Press – Cape verde. Five teams, from four sports regions in the country, will participate from the 20th to the 30th of July, in São Vicente, in the Senior Women’s National Football Championship. The games all take place at the Adérito Sena stadium.

Llana, from Sal, current national champion, Mindelense (São Vicente), Dorense (representative of Sal), ADEC from Calheta (Santiago Norte) and Seven Stars (Santiago Sul), are the teams that will compete in the competition.

It should be noted that Dorense participates in the competition as runner-up in the Sal region, since Llana was crowned champion of the island and also holds the national title.

End on July 30th

According to the calendar released by the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), the Llana team will start defending the title against Mindelense, from São Vicente.

The championship system is everyone against everyone, one round, and the top two will compete in the final, on the 30th of July.

The games will be played at Estádio Adérito Sena, in the city of Mindelo.

Last season, 2021-2022, in the final played at Estádio 25 de Julho, in Santa Cruz, Llana beat ADEC, from Calheta, by 2-0, achieving his second national title, the first being won in the 2017-18 season .
