Africa-Press – Cape verde. The paved road between Variante and Monte Pousada, in São Miguel, in the interior of Santiago, is ready and will be inaugurated on the 24th of July.
This is an investment of around PTE 58 thousand, financed by the Tourism Fund, within the framework of the Tourism Operational Programme.
The work included the installation of a curb, the introduction of asphalt over the sidewalk over a length of 3.6 km, the construction of protective walls, longitudinal and transversal drainage and horizontal and vertical signaling.
In a statement, the local authority recalls that, since 2016, it has set the goal of unlocking all locations, giving people more and better accessibility, which facilitates and contributes to the development of various sectors.
