Africa-Press – Cape verde. The mayor of São Filipe, Nuías Silva, said he is available to candidate for São Filipe or for any place and challenge that the PAICV may have at a local or national level.
“I am available to the party. It is the PAICV that will decide and Nuías is a servant at the service of the party, the municipality and the country”, said the mayor, recalling that the candidacies are decided by the PAICV and that being a PAICV militant he is willing to candidate for any place and accept any challenge that the PAICV will have at national and local level.
According to him, the re-candidacy of the PAICV to the São Filipe council is certain with him or with any other person
“We have great works for the next term. I have absolute confidence that São Filipe will continue as a PAICV because the gains are immeasurable and we cannot afford to try to go back”, he said, stressing that the experience“ was positive ”and the“ bet was won ”.
