Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Porto Novo City Council is sensitizing young people from Porto Novo to participate, starting in September, in professional training announced by the Institute of Employment and Professional Training for the island of Santo Antão.
In a note released today to which Inforpress had access, the municipality said that “there is still time” for young people to register and take part in the new training offers, which will start next month, under an initiative of the Institute of Employment and Professional Training.
In the case of Porto Novo, the same source guarantees that training will be provided in the areas of agriculture, electrification, plumbing and carers of dependents.
Data made available by Porto Novo City Council say that more than 170 young people have already been trained with various professional training courses held from 2016 in this municipality.
