Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cultural Heritage Institute (IPC) announced on Tuesday that the Museums of Cabo Verde recorded increase of more than 130 percent (%) of visits in 2021 compared to the previous year.
According to information provided by the IPC, this increase is due to the innovation of content in various structures, as well as the strengthening of the communication mechanisms introduced, and the consequent resumption of tourism in the country.
He also stressed that, even under the pandemic effects and sanitary restrictions, and the emergence of new variants, museums in Cabo Verde have gradually resumed some normality in their operation.
According to the same source, in 2021, museums received a total of 8.466 visits, which means an increase of more than 130% compared to last year, when they had received 3.639 visits in the physical space.
