Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Assistant Secretary of State of the Prime Minister, Lourenço Lopes, promised today, during a visit to Cape Verde Radio and Television (RTC), that the Government will fulfil all the commitments set in the media sector by 2024.
“In 2024, that is, two years before the end of the mandate of this legislature, the Government will fulfil all the commitments made in the media sector”, he stressed.
The Secretary of State announced that, with regard to the Inforpress News Agency, the Government is moving towards closing all commitments this year, citing the recent signing of the first informative news service contract, the implementation of the Career Plan, Positions and Salaries (PCCS) and the development of the agency’s new website.
Lourenço Lopes also reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to RTC, announcing a significant increase of 79% in the compensatory compensation for the state broadcaster, which will increase from 48,000 contos to 86,000 contos.
