Africa-Press – Cape verde. The boeing 737-8, recently acquired by the national airline (TACV), made its first commercial flight today at 8:15 am, Praia/Lisbon.
The aircraft, named Morabeza, already has authorization to operate on connections to Europe.
As explained to Inforpress, the PCA of the company, Sara Pires, the device was acquired to enter the route that the company has been operating, that is, Lisbon and Paris, stating that new routes will be introduced.
Seven weekly flights to Lisbon
The aircraft, remember, on the 20th of July, to Cape Verde and was baptized on the board of Nelson Mandela International Airport, Praia.
At the time, Sara Pires said that with the acquisition of this aircraft, the company will operate seven weekly flights to and from Lisbon and two weekly flights to and from Paris.
He also guaranteed that the new aircraft registered D4-CCJ already has the authorization issued by the European Union Aviation Safety (EASA, acronym in English), foreseeing for the near future the resumption of the operation for the United States and Brazil.
