Africa-Press – Cape verde. Ministers Jorge Santos and Joana Rosa, on a joint mission to Côte d’Ivoire, were received by the Minister of Interior and Security, Diomande Vagondo, and one of the points of conversation was the possibility of cooperation in areas such as Security and specialized training in matters of preventing and combating crime, among others.
In what was the last point on the agenda of the visit to Côte d’Ivoire, within the framework of the process of Attribution of Free Nationality to Cape Verdean Descendants in African countries, the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Communities were received by Diomande Vagondo and were able to talk on the “excellent relations between Côte d’Ivoire and Cape Verde, enhancing the friendship and solidarity between the two peoples”.
The Ivorian Minister noted that it was a big surprise for him that Cape Verde has a significant community, which for him “is a sign that the community is well integrated, living in a climate of satisfaction”.
The joint mission continues until the 14th, this time the two ministers will travel to São Tomé and Príncipe where, according to a statement, “they will develop intense contacts with authorities of the Archipelago and listen to our countrymen who live there”.
