Africa-Press – Cape verde. The EPIF and EFSOD teams will play this Sunday, the 13th, in the final of the South Santiago Regional Football Championship for the 2022/23 season, in a match to be played at Estádio da Várzea. The final is scheduled for 10 am.
To reach the final in yet another competition of the Regional Football Association of South Santiago (ARFSS), the EPIF team eliminated the formation of Associação Desportiva do Paiol by 2-0 in the semi-finals, while EFSOD left the Building with a comfortable defeat by 3-0.
The race, as explained to Inforpress by the president of the ARFSS, Mário “Donnay” Avelino, also had the contest of Desportivo and Delta, penultimate and last classified, in the universe of six emblems.
Regional disputed in the system all against all
The Santiago South Regional of the category was disputed in the system of all against all in one round, and the first four positions qualified for the second phase.
In the final, the first place, EFSOD (13 points), played with Paiol, fourth with six points, so EPIF, as second place with 11, faced the Building, third, with 10 points.
