Africa-Press – Cape verde. The national football team held its first training session on Monday 04 at the Estádio do Sindicato dos Jogadores in Lisbon (Portugal), where coach Bubista had 21 of the 24 footballers called up.
The Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) said in a statement that the group of players called up was complete with the arrival, after training, of Deroy Duarte, Leandro Andrade and Willy Semedo.
Midfielder Laros Duarte, who made his debut in the squad, didn’t recover from an injury and was left out of the squad.
The match with Togo is scheduled for 10 September at 15:00 local time (16:00 in Cabo Verde) at Lomé’s Kegué Stadium, with the national team already qualified for the final phase and with their sights set on top spot in the group.
