Africa-Press – Cape verde. The prices of imported products registered a drop of 0.3 percent (%) in August 2023, a value lower by 2.4 percentage points (p.p) compared to the previous month, revealed today the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
According to the institute, the monthly rate of change in the prices of exported products stood at 1.2 % in August 2023, 1.8 percentage points higher than the previous month.
The monthly variation rate recorded by the Terms of Trade Index was 1.4% according to the same source, with an increase of 4.1 percentage points compared to the previous month.
The INE said that the import price index stood at 137.6, having registered a decrease of 0.3% compared to the previous month.
