Africa-Press – Cape verde. World experts in nature tourism are expected on the island of Santo Antão on September 29th to discuss tourist diversification in Cabo Verde and the need to create sustainable tourist offers.
These ‘experts’ will participate in the international conference on nature tourism, in Santo Antão, which aims to mobilize “Green investments as a route to sustainable tourism” in Cabo Verde, in a Government initiative, in partnership with the City Council of this island
A note sent to Inforpress states that the conference will discuss the diversification of Cabo Verde’s tourism and the need to create sustainable tourist offers that enhance communities and take advantage of the country’s endogenous resources.
The conference, according to the same source, will be “a space for reflection, debate and presentation of nature tourism models, in different contexts and parts of the world, through the sharing of ideas, experiences and good practices”.
