According to the reschedule, the start of the double elimination was scheduled for Wednesday, being certain the meeting of captains scheduled for 8AM the same day, in Ponta Preta beach, so that the first race can start half an hour later, if the appropriate conditions for the double elimination are met.
The single-elimination, in conditions considered epic, were completed Monday with the partial victory of the American from the Hawaiian Islands, Bernd Roediger.
