According to the National Police reported on Friday, on January 22nd, the police force arrested a 24-year-old man, resident in the same locality, in the act of committing a crime of homicide using a firearm. artisanal, better known as “Boca Bedjo”.
On the morning of that same day, the detainee, a former prisoner, allegedly fired a shot at an individual from the same locality, following a fight.
The victim was taken to Agostinho Neto Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries and died shortly afterwards.
The same source states that the attacker, who fled, was immediately captured, and a homemade firearm used in the commission of the crime was found and seized.
Following this incident, it was possible to identify and arrest another 5 individuals, allegedly involved in the case, and in their possession 3 firearms were found and seized (two conventional and one homemade), 7.62mm caliber ammunition. and 9mm, 2 bladed weapons, as well as narcotic substances and other objects, such as hats.
The detainees were brought before the judiciary on charges of homicide and weapons crimes.
After being subjected to the first interrogation, four of them, including the murderer, were applied the most serious coercive measure, Preventive Detention.
The remaining two will respond to the case on conditional release, with periodic presentations to the police authorities, depending on the PN.
