May: Chamber and AEM present project "One house, one water reservoir" to French institutions

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Mayor of Maio, Miguel Rosa, is visiting France, where he is initiating contacts with institutions and similar institutions to present the project “One house, one water reservoir”.

According to a note published on the municipality’s official page on the social network, the mayor Miguel Rosa and the administrator of the company Águas e Energias do Maio maintained contacts with the mayor of Saverne and the president of the Terre-ô-Vent Association, with which they signed a convention in the water and sanitation sector.

The signing of the convention between Águas e Energia do Maio, represented by its PCA, Vital Fernandes, and the Terre-ô-Vent association, led by its president Didier HAFFNER, follows this association collaborating with associations on the island in some projects .

“One house, one water reservoir”, aims to benefit hundreds of families on the island of Maio with reservoirs to store the precious liquid.

“The president is confident in how this partnership will bear more fruit for the population of Maio”, the note reads.

It was agreed that a team from Terre-ô-Vent, also made up of French elected officials and technicians who ‘discovered’ the island of Maio through a promotional video financed by the European Union, will visit the island, but there is still no set date.

The conference also included the participation of other French actors linked to local authorities and government organizations and associations and NGOs.

The Mayan mayor and the administrator of the company AEM continue their tour of that European country and are currently in Montpellier, continuing their contact agenda.
