Parliament: First plenary session this month starts on Wednesday with debate with Family Minister

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The first plenary session this April starts on Wednesday, 10th, with a debate with the Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, Fernando Elísio Freire, and on internal and external policy issues.

According to a press release from the National Assembly, the debate with Fernando Elísio Freire was proposed by the parliamentary group of the Movement for Democracy (MpD), the party that supports the Government, while the debate on internal and external policy issues was suggested by the Independent and Democratic Cape Verdean Union (UCID), an opposition party.

The session will also be marked by questions from national deputies to the Government and approval of the proposed resolution that approves the protocol that amends the Council of Europe Convention for the Protection of Individuals in relation to the Automated Processing of Personal Data.

The plenary session will take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of April, at the National Assembly.
