Africa-Press – Cape verde. The São Vicente District Court ordered preventive detention for three individuals suspected of robbing and shooting the manager of Shell sales stations, having the sum of three million escudos taken from him on April 1st.
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, with the assistance of the Judiciary Police and the National Police, it collected evidence of facts likely to be part of the practice of crimes of robbery, qualified offense, weapons and shooting.
During the investigation, those suspected of committing the acts were identified as three male individuals, aged between 30 and 35, and were arrested, outside of the act.
All suspects were remanded in pre-trial detention after the first judicial interrogation.
It should be noted that on April 1, 2024, around 3 pm, in the vicinity of the economic bank branch, in Fonte Cónego, São Vicente island, an individual, using a firearm, robbed and shot another individual , manager of Shell sales outlets, having been deducted the sum of three million escudos.
