Africa-Press – Cape verde. Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, receives today, July 15, on August 2, a holiday camp for children from six to 13 years of age, whose purpose is to occupy the free time during the holidays.
According to Inforpress, the initiative is from the Porto-Norvenian municipality, which reported that the holiday camp will be held in partnership with the Portuguese association Synergia and the Porto Novo Youth Center and aims to provide children with “fun holidays”.
This end of the academic year in the municipality of Porto Novo has been marked by the ceremonies of the imposition of tapes to children of the different kindergartens that complete the preschool.
Porto Novo has 24 kindergartens, 19 of which are in charge of the city council, which cover more than 500 children throughout the county.
