Africa-Press – Cape verde. The City Council of Rotterdam, Netherlands, honored the Dutch and Cape Verdean health professionals who voluntarily participated in the vaccination campaign against covid-19, in Cape Verde.
O ministro das comunidades de Cabo Verde, Jorge Santos, em representação do governo, saudou a iniciativa e felicitou as autoridades holandesas envolvidas, bem como toda a equipa de profissionais de saúde que responderam ao apelo lançado para ajudar Cabo Verde no processo de vacinação.
The official praised the “excellent cooperation relations” between Cape Verde and the Netherlands and ended with a special greeting to Cape Verdeans who, with their work, contribute to the development of the country where they live and work and to the strengthening of fraternal relations between Cape Verde and the Netherlands.
The ceremony was presided over by the Mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb, and featured a cultural session animated by singer Jaqueline Fortes. It is recalled that the Netherlands has supported Cape Verde with professionals and vaccine donations in the fight against the pandemic.
