Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Health Department of Brava has, from now on, two more Cuban doctors who will work together with the delegate. It is the first in the history of the island that the population will have three doctors at their service, with permanent availability.
The information was provided by the mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, satisfied with this further gain for the Brava island, consequently due to the improvement in health services.

Francisco Tavares also added that he had the opportunity to receive the health delegate from Brava, the head of Cuba-Cape Verde Medical Cooperation, Maria Caridad Perez Matute, and the two Cuban doctors who will reinforce the island’s team, noting that one is a doctor. of comprehensive general medicine with a specialization in pediatrics and the other has a specialization in intensive care and medical emergency.
Despite 46 years of cooperation between Cuba and Cape Verde in the area of health, Tavares says that this is the first time that Cuban doctors will provide services on a permanent basis at Brava.
