Africa-Press – Cape verde. The City Hall of Praia promotes a set of activities to celebrate “March, month of theater, poetry, women and crafts”, announced the director of Culture and Creative Economies in the City Hall, as part of the World Poetry Day.
“We framed a series of activities, first we have the fair of letters, with the book fair with the participation of the National Library, Education Museum, Military Library and Cabo Verdean Society of Authors (SOCA), being objective to make a sale fair, as well as a reading space”, he said.
“We also have an ABC corner, which will start this Tuesday, which will be the children’s area where we will have storytelling and children’s books to encourage reading in children,” he added.
This director also said that the central point of these activities will be the program “Poetry in the feminine”, at a time with about 20 women who are in the collection of poetry in honor to woman. CC / GSF / AA / HVF
