Africa-Press – Cape verde. The city of Mindelo, São Vicente, will host, on the 28th and 29th of March, the first trade and investment conference between Cape Verde and Florida, United States of America. The event aims to enhance investment opportunities and commercial relations between partners.
According to a communiqué reached this editorial office, the conference takes place within the scope of relations between Cape Verde and the United States of America, and will bring together Cape Verdean and US businessmen, institutions and competent authorities in the diplomatic and commercial sphere.
“In an environment of presentations of commercial opportunities between Cape Verde and Florida, there will be B2B exchanges, round tables, signing of memoranda, among other activities”, he says.
The same, in person and online format, will take place at the Conference Hall of the Barlavento Chamber of Commerce, where topics such as export opportunities within the framework of the AGOA ( African Growth and Opportunity Act ), investment opportunities in Cape Verde , financing instruments to support trade and investment between Cape Verde and the United States, among others.
It is organized by the Government of Cape Verde, in partnership with the Cape Verde Think-Tank Foundation, the Authority for the Special Economic Zone in São Vicente and Cape Verde TradeInvest and, in collaboration with the two Chambers of Commerce and the Cape Verde Chamber of Tourism Green.
