Africa-Press – Cape verde. At the start of the new school year, the Mosteiros City Council is distributing school kits to more than 250 elementary and high school students to ensure equal access to the education system.
According to a statement from the Mosteiros City Council published on its social media page, the kits, consisting of backpacks, notebooks, pencil cases, pens, pencils, erasers, colored pencils, rulers, clippers, and other essential accessories, represent an investment of approximately 500,000 escudos.
The initiative, which is repeated annually, aims to serve low-income families throughout the municipality to ensure that no school-age child is left out of the system due to a lack of materials.
