In an interview with Inforpress, regarding the launch of Efrem Soares’ latest work this Friday, Hélio Cruz stated that the public’s reaction has been gratifying and that the publisher’s focus has been on giving voice to authors who kept their unpublished writings in “drawers.”
“It has been a very good trajectory, much better than we expected. We are satisfied, mainly because these 11 books that we have already published are by authors who had their texts in drawers for fear of publishing. We have convinced them to bring their stories and memories to the public,” explained the director.
Regarding the work *Acreditar* (To Believe), by Efrem Soares, Hélio Cruz classified it as a “true tribute to memories,” framing it within the publisher’s mission of preserving local and personal experiences.
Regarding the near future, the executive assured that the prospects are “quite promising,” pointing to 2026 as a year of “strong expansion” for the Letras Salgadas catalog.
