Africa-Press – Cape verde. The first floor of the São Vicente Municipal Market received a live painting session with nine artists, promoted by the Center for Tourism and Solidarity Economy in partnership with the Simili recycling project.
According to the coordinator of the Center for Tourism and Solidarity Economy, Cristina Moreira this is an activity in which people take pieces or buy handmade bags from the Simili recycling and transformation project tobbe painted by one of the seven artists present on the site.
In addition, she explained, two other artists will paint panels that will be left at the Municipal Market of São Vicente as a legacy, because they believe that it is “a space that deserves dynamics”.
This activity is part of the project “fostering the tradition and culture of Sao Vicente through digital promotion and the creation of spaces for sharing knowledge in the center for tourism and solidarity economy” which has the financing financing of the “Diversidade”.
