After failing the first attempt, last week, against Académico 83 – writes Inforpress -, on the afternoon of this Saturday, 23, the Turma Encarnada da Vila do Barreiro, who needed a draw, managed to defeat Onze Unidos thus winning the Regional Title.
At the end of the game held at the Municipal Stadium “Dau d’Segunda”, in the City of Porto Inglês – the Capital of the Municipality of Maio -, Coach “Zé Badiu” was a “proud” man, for having assumed the leadership of Barreirense the halfway through the championship, but, above all, for having won this title as well as the player of this team for some years now.
“Zé Badiu” promises to work to make a good representation during the National Championship and dignify the Colors of the Turma da Vila de Barreiro.
For his part, the president of Barreirense, Malaquias Ribeiro, made it known that the title won is the result of a “planned work”, since the beginning of the season and dedicated the victory to the entire Associative Mass of the Club, both in the country and in the Diaspora.
The scorer of the goal that gave Barreirense the victory, “Djery”, in turn, said he felt “a fulfilled person”. for having achieved the two proposed objectives: to be the best scorer of the event and to win the Regional Title.
