Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Tourism Carlos Santos announced on Thursday that the Boa Vista Island will benefit, in the next five years, with an investment of five million euros under the Tourism Operational Plan.
Carlos Santos, who presented the Tourism Operational Program (POT) in Boa Vista, said that this is the answer and solution the Government wants to present to tour operators and the country to materialize the tourism’s vision Cabo Verde for the next five years.
On the POT budget, which is valued at about 20 billion escudos, the Minister stressed that it is an “ambitious” plan and said that it has already mobilized about 40 percent (%) of the total value.
The Minister considered that “one is on a good step” that is “the result of the Government’s ability to demonstrate to partners and the World Bank (WB) how impactful it is to invest in this sector”.
