Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verde recorded this Wednesday, June 1, 60 new infections in the country, most of them in Praia.
Of the 202 analyzes tested in Praia alone, 48 were positive for covid-19. Then, the new cases are still verified in São Vicente,7, Santa Catarina 3 and S.Salvador do Mundo and Porto Novo, each 1 with a new case.
In total, in the country, 318 results were obtained from national laboratories, with a positivity rate equivalent to 18.9%.
There are still 18 recovered (Praia 11, Ribeira Grande de Santo Antão 2, Porto Novo 1, São Vicente 3 and Boa Vista 1).
The country now has 131 active cases, 55799 recovered cases, 402 deaths, 43 deaths from other causes and 9 transferred, making a total of 56384 accumulated positive cases.
