Africa-Press – Cape verde. The national football team play today, at 6PM, at the Marrakech Stadium (Morocco), against the counterpart from Burkina Faso, in the first round of Group B qualifying for CAN 2023.
According to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), in the last training session before the match, held on Thursday, the 2nd, coach Bubista had all the called up.
This match will be directed by a three-member of Ghanaian referees Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea, first assistant Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey, second Assistant Paul Kdzo Atimaka, while Adaari Addul Latif will be the fourth referee. For the commissioner’s duties, CAF appointed the Nigerian Sanusi Mohammed.
In the other group match, Togo plays against the national team of Eswatini, formerly Swaziland, at the Kégué Stadium in Lomé. Cabo Verde returns to play on Tuesday, the 7th, at the same Stadium, with Togo, this time as host, due to restrictions on the part of CAF to the National stadiums in the City of Praia, and “Adérito Sena”, in São Vicente.
