Africa-Press – Cape verde. In June, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered an average change of 5.5% in the last twelve months, 0.6 pp higher than that recorded in the previous month, the INE said today.
In the period under analysis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered a monthly rate of change of 0.6%, 0.1 percentage points (pp) lower than that recorded in the previous month.
The cumulative rate of change in the CPI was 4.2%, 2.7 pp higher than that observed in the same month of the previous year, while the year-on-year rate of change in the total CPI, in June 2022, was 8.2%, 0.4 pp higher than in the previous month.
In the period under review, the CPI recorded an average change over the last twelve months of 5.5%, 0.6 pp higher than in the previous month.
The underlying inflation indicator (total index excluding energy and unprocessed food) showed a year-on-year change of 6.3%, 0.4 pp higher than that recorded in May 2022.
