Africa-Press – Cape verde. Paulense won, on Friday, the Santo Antão Regional Volleyball Championship, in Senior Men, by winning the third game of the “Play-Off”, which was being played with Solpontense.
Paulense, who had already won the first two games – reports Inforpress -, received, on Friday, 12, at the Polivalente in Cidade das Pombas (the Capital of the Municipality of Paúl), Solpontense (from Ribeira Grande) and returned to win by 3-0, with the partials of 27/25, 25/17 and 25/20, thus winning the Title.
This Competition initially had three teams, but Sporting do Porto Novo, which in its history has won a National Championship, withdrew halfway through the competition.
Also in Senior Women, the Championship is already in the “Play-Off” Phase, which is also being played between the Paulense and Solpontense Teams.
