Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verde has a stock of vaccines against covid-19 of 54,774 doses of Pfizer, which must be used until December 2022, and 31,072 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine, to be used until April 2023.
The information was forwarded to Inforpress by the National Director of Health, Jorge Noel Barreto, who also underlined that, in order to make use of the 2022 stock, before the deadline, people must go to health centers to take the doses they lack. .
Barreto also reported that 280,036 adults are already fully vaccinated, and 36% have already taken the booster dose.
The count indicates that 39,754 adolescents are already fully vaccinated. That is, about (74%).
Cape Verde is currently receiving the second booster dose.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, until Friday, 26, the country had 20 active cases, 61,821 recovered cases, 410 deaths, 46 deaths from other causes and 9 transferred, making a total of 62,306 accumulated positive cases.
