Africa-Press – Cape verde. David Spencer and Stephanie da Cruz won the bronze medal, in the mixed pair modality, at the African Aerobic Gymnastics Championship, in Cairo, Egypt. David brought yet another bronze in an individual title.
The junior mixed pair team, made up of gymnasts David Spencer and Stephanie da Cruz, won 3rd place in the 16th edition of the African Aerobic Gymnastics Championship, in Cairo, Egypt.
According to the Cape Verdean Gymnastics Federation, David Spencer also won the bronze medal in the men’s junior individual level.
The Federation highlighted the “excellent performance” of the gymnasts.
“It was a very intense competition, with very strong participation by representatives of the 8 African countries (Algeria- Benin- Cameroon- Cape Verde- Democratic Republic of Congo- Morocco- Sierra Leone- AND Egypt) of the aerobics discipline”, he highlighted, congratulating the national athletes for their medals, as well as the coaches.
