The duration of the contract was not revealed, nor the amounts involved in the operation.

As the NewsAvia website advances, the aircraft of this Maltese company to be transferred to Cape Verde on a rental basis is the A320 registration 9H-GTS (MSN 4384).

It is an aircraft with 12 years of service, which made its entry in August 2010 in the Indian company Indigo.

According to the same source, he has been on the island of Malta for about a year at the service of Airhub Airlines.

“Our partnership with Cabo Verde Airlines further cements Airhub Airlines’ positioning as the ACMI service provider of choice for carriers worldwide,” said Haris Coloman, CEO of Airhub Airlines, quoted in a company press release. .

So far, there has been no reaction from TACV, nor from the Government of Cape Verde to confirm the aforementioned contract.

Also according to the same source, the Airhub Airlines A320-200 will fly commercially on the TACV network with regular flights from Cape Verde to airports in European countries, namely to Portugal.
