Tourism: 200 new students start courses at EHTCV today

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The courses in Cooking, Pastry, Restaurants and Beverages at the Cape Verde School of Hospitality and Tourism (EHTCV) start today. In total, there are 200 new trainees in the areas of hospitality, catering and tourism, looking forward to a job opportunity in the market.

These young people are starting their training at EHTCV today with the aim of developing skills in the areas of hotel catering and tourism, specifically in courses in Cooking, Pastry, Restaurants and Beverages.

According to information from the EHTCV, in total there are 200 trainees, among them 76 young people from the islands of Maio, Brava, São Vicente, Santo Antão and the interior of Santiago who will join the EHTCV.

“Trainees from the islands will be accommodated in the EHTCV Student Residence due to the acquisition of the scholarship”, advances the institution.

Thus, during the next few days, the new trainees “will experience the essence of the school and the norms of the Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism sector, through a set of activities aimed at the integration of young people”.

EHTCV says that, over these 11 years of existence, more than 6000 young people have been trained for the job market and that it has a “highly qualified” team to prepare trainees for the job market.

“We wish success in training and that each trainee is dedicated and committed to the success of training”, they conclude.
