Africa-Press – Cape verde. The President of the Republic of Cape Verde and the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau analyzed, in a meeting held this Saturday, 22, in Bissau, ways to increase the mobility of people and goods between the two countries.

José Maria Neves, who ends an official visit to Guinea-Bissau today, met, this Saturday, with the Prime Minister, Nuno Nabiam, in a restricted meeting, followed by a working lunch and fraternization, at the Government Palace, in Bissau. .

The mobility of people and goods between Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau was one of the dominant issues, in view of the commercial dialogue and the transport system.

“We have to get businesspeople to talk to each other and take care of the transport systems between the two countries, to increase trade and economic growth”, defended José Maria Neves.

Homage to Amílcar Cabral

On his second day of visit, José Maria Neves also paid tribute to Amílcar Cabral, with the deposition of Wreaths of Flowers in the Cabral deposits, as well as to General João Bernardo Vieira, in the Fortress of Amura.

He also visited the Military Museum of the National Liberation Struggle, which preserves the memory of the armed struggle and instruments used to mobilize the populations.
