Africa-Press – Cape verde. Five Cape Verdean athletes will represent the country at the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness’2022) World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, which will take place from November 2nd to 7th in Barcelona, Spain.
According to inforpress, which cites the Cape Verdean Weightlifting Federation, the national delegation, led by coach Jailton Rocha, will be represented by athletes Valdir Gomes and Evelino Rodrigues (Santiago Sul), Admilson Gomes and Álvaro Andrade (São Vicente) and António Sousa (Salt).
The delegation has the financial support of the Government, through the Institute of Sport and Youth, and they were even received last Saturday, 22, at the IDJ by the administrator for the area of Youth and Sport, Graciano Sena, and director of sport , Jose Eduardo dos Santos.
Cape Verde will therefore try to make the best possible participation in what is the biggest competition in bodybuilding, and which will be held in Santa Susana, Barcelona, Spain, from the 2nd to the 7th of November.
