Africa-Press – Cape verde. Senior Women’s Handball Team of Cape Verde made its public presentation this Saturday, at the Vává Duarte sports pavilion, on the eve of its departure to Senegal, where it will play in the final phase of CAN’2022.
The delegation, which this Sunday travels to Senegal, where it still has some training scheduled for the biggest showcase of the African Women’s Competition at the national level, was convinced of a good performance in this competition that starts 09 of the current in the Senegalese capital.
Cape Verde’s coach of the modality, Fernando Fernandes, told the press that the selected ones are focused on a good performance. That is, prepared to go as far as possible, that a good atmosphere reigns in the collective and that it remains, from now on, “to seek luck, based on a lot of work and that Cape Verde will try to achieve it”.
In Senegal, the Portuguese coach said that Cabo Verde has scheduled three training sessions by the competition’s own organization and that the technical team has worked out a plan to maintain the athletes’ physical shape, adding that the technical-tactical content will have to be reserved for the short time available.
