Africa-Press – Cape verde. The councilman for External Relations, the City Hall of São Vicente said Tuesday that the forum “Think São Vicente 2035” has a budget of 12 million escudos, seven of which are to build the structure will host the event.
Albertino Graça was speaking at a press conference in Ribeira de Julião, where the work for assembling the structure to host the forum is carried out, scheduled to take place from January 19 to 21, is part of the Municipality Day of São Vicente.
According to the mayor, the idea of “transferring the forum from the city to Ribeira de Julião, building the oasis to welcome it, was to show that it is not another forum”. This is because it is a “special forum to discuss and find the paths of development” to São Vicente, he explained.
“We’re going to have four ships. The number one ship is the one that will host the opening of the forum and will have capacity for 200 guests. And the other ships will host the discussion of the themes and the panels and then we have a bigger one that is intended for meals because we want people to stay here all day. There will be a meal and bar service so that people do not have the need to go to the city”, he explained.
