Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The cyclist from the island of Sa\u0303o Nicolau Arlindo Soares won this Sunday the cycling race, on the route Tarrafal\u2013Airport\u2013Tarrafal, an event held as part of the \u201cNovember Blue\u201d celebrations promoted by the canning factory Sucla.<\/p>\n

The athlete completed the race in 02 hours and 34 minutes, beating the competition of Eliezer Soares from the island of Sal who was in second and Ne\u0301lio Cruz from Sa\u0303o Vicente in third.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Inforpress, the athlete showed his satisfaction for having won the race for the third consecutive year, noting that it was a \u201cdifficult\u201d race with opponents who gave \u201ca good fight\u201d.<\/p>\n

He also thanked the Sociedade Ultramarina de Conservas de Sa\u0303o Nicolau (Sucla) for its \u201ccontribution\u201d towards the development of cycling on the island.<\/p>\n
