Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Government clarified this Tuesday in a statement that the amounts entered in the State Budget for 2023 (OE \u20182023) concerning \u201cTechnical Assistance\u201d and \u201cOther Expenses\u201d have associated commitments and that cannot be replaced by opposition proposals.<\/p>\n

In the document sent to Inforpress, the Government informs that \u201cTechnical Assistance\u201d includes the amount of 4.5 billion escudos arising from the implementation of investment projects or support from partners in the execution of various public policies, with funding capital of 2.5 billion escudos.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis amount cannot be reallocated to other financing needs due to contractual restriction\u201d, stresses the document.<\/p>\n

The same source adds that 1.3 billion escudos are still incurred from expenditure on national technical assistance, essentially to cover the costs of so-called precarious workers in Public Administration, which will be covered by the second phase of regularization of precarious workers, as provided for in the proposal for State Budget Law 2023.<\/p>\n
