Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The National Library Institute of Cabo Verde (BNCV) inaugurated this Monday, in Praia, a special book fair for Christmas and New Year, to promote children\u2019s literature and the habit of reading.<\/p>\n

The book fair promoted by the Ministry of Culture, through the BNCV, is open until December 30 at the National Library and presents books of different interests and at very affordable prices.<\/p>\n

The curator of the National Library, Matilde Santos, speaking to the press, said that the focus on children\u2019s books is because is a phase that reinforces the importance of books and reading.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe objective is to put them in contact with books and demonstrate that we can acquire and develop our knowledge, as well as our critical capacity, from books\u201d, pointed out the responsible.<\/p>\n
