Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The construction of the municipal slaughterhouse in the municipality of Porto Novo, in Santo Anta\u0303o, which has been one of the demands of the people of Porto Novo, could be a reality in 2023, a project already with funding secured through from the government.<\/p>\n

The construction of the municipal slaughterhouse, initially planned for this year, has been rescheduled for 2023, according to the City hall Porto Novo investment plan, which indicates that funding, around ten million escudos, will be made available by the Treasury.<\/p>\n

This project is part of an environmental program that the City Hall of Porto Novo intends to carry out over the next year, which also includes the relocation of the styes, which are located close to the houses in the city of Porto Novo and their conversion into pigsties.<\/p>\n

For 2023, the council announced an investment of around 60 million escudos, which will also favor the construction of bathrooms for needy families.<\/p>\n
