Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The City Council of Santa Catarina de Santiago, this afternoon, assigns nine small business kits for mothers from different locations in the municipality. It is a partnership between ACRIDES and the Luxembourgish NGO ECPAT Lux.<\/p>\n

The \u201cMothers\u201d project aims to work on preventing and combating child sexual abuse and exploitation. And, in the case of Santa Catarina, it is budgeted at around 738 million Cape Verdean Escudos.<\/p>\n

Nine mothers from various locations in Santa Catarina will receive kits with equipment and raw materials to start small businesses in different areas.<\/p>\n

The kits delivery ceremony will take place from 4 pm onwards, at Espac\u0327o Jovem de Ribeira da Barca.<\/p>\n

Interventions are expected from the president of ACRIDES and Coordinator of the National Network for the Protection of Children, Lourenc\u0327a Tavares, a representative of the Luxembourg Cooperation and President Jassira Monteiro.<\/p>\n
