Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The City Hall of Ribeira Grande will take out a bond loan, through the Cabo Verde Stock Exchange, worth 110 million escudos for the construction of the Tarrafal grass field and other infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, after the extraordinary meeting of the Municipal Assembly of Ribeira Grande, which took place today, the mayor of Ribeira Grande, Orlando Delgado, explained that with that amount the city council intends to carry out projects, in 2023, starting with the Tarrafal grass field.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tarrafal grass field is a much talked about and desired dream. Contrary to what they say, this project has already come out in the activity plans, but so far the City Hall has not contracted a penny for its construction, but today with that decision we will have the resources to make the field that is our great desire\u201d he underlined .<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the mayor pointed out that in addition to the Tarrafal field, this amount will be used for urban rehabilitation and for the second phase of the Joa\u0303o Afonso road.<\/p>\n
