Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Institute of Sports and Youth handed over sports equipment to the Armed Forces at the Military Barracks of Achada Limpo, in the city of Praia. The initiative is part of the implementation of the \u201cEquipment of Sports Infrastructures by Specialization\u201d Programme.<\/p>\n

The delivery of materials is part of the Government Program of the IX legislature, 2016-2021, which provides for the promotion of school sports, the creation of specialized centers for high performance sports and the qualification and training of sports institutions and structures.<\/p>\n

The project also includes making the national and municipal stadiums more profitable, improving the use of Physical Education teachers and training, training and competition activities.<\/p>\n

The initiative is the result of cooperation between the Government of Cape Verde and the Chinese Government.<\/p>\n
