Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The city of Praia is the stage, between this Friday and Saturday (6th and 7th January) of various activities that mark the 25th anniversary of RTP Africa, a Portuguese public channel that has given special emphasis, for more than two decades, to information on African countries Portuguese-speaking people, but also from the continent in general.<\/p>\n

This Friday, the conference \u201cPublic Television: Service and Innovation\u201d takes place at the Hotel Praia-mar, from 11 am. It will be chaired by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva and will also feature a speech by Lui\u0301s Marques Mendes, on RTP Africa and the role of the Media within the CPLP.<\/p>\n

There will then be a period of debate with the presidents of public television companies in Portuguese-speaking countries.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that on Saturday the RTP Africa 25th Anniversary Gala will take place at the National Auditorium, Praia, at 7 pm, with direct transmission and with the performance of various Portuguese-speaking artists. E\u0301lida Almeida, Nenny, Daro, Sara Correia, Si\u0301lvia Barros and Ivan Alekxel and Mr.Bow are the names that will take the stage.<\/p>\n
