Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Humanitarian Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Peniche, Portugal, recently offered an ambulance and a firefighting vehicle to the Municipality of Sa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o dos O\u0301rga\u0303os, within the scope of a cooperation protocol.<\/p>\n

According to a publication by this humanitarian association, on its Facebook page, in addition to the vehicles, personal protective equipment and various first-aid material was donated.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing the Cooperation Protocol signed between both entities, the Humanitarian Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Peniche, was present in the Municipality of Sa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o dos O\u0301rga\u0303os where it witnessed the reception of donated vehicles and materials\u201d, explains the corporation.<\/p>\n

Reinforcement of firefighting and transport of patients<\/p>\n

The vehicles, according to the Municipality of Sa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o dos O\u0301rga\u0303os, will reinforce the fight against fire and transport of patients in the most distant areas of the city of Joa\u0303o Teves.<\/p>\n
