Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance rejoiced this Tuesday, with Cabo Verde\u2019s recovery from the crisis, but again warned Cape Verdeans of the \u201cdays difficult\u201d that approach with 2023.<\/p>\n

Olavo Correia made these considerations in his swearing-in speech of the new General Director of Heritage and Public Procurement, Francisco Moreira.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year will be difficult and very demanding, with many uncertainties, but what we cannot control is not worth dying for in advance\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

Already in December, Olavo Correia, in a press conference, had referred to the \u201cdifficult and unpredictable\u201d context that would be the year 2023, highlighting how challenging it would be for the whole world. However, calling on everyone to be confident, to promote trust and to be cautious and prudent in the management of risks that arise, whether from external sources or internally.<\/p>\n

On the same occasion, economists and professors warned of the difficulties that Cape Verdean families would be exposed to in 2023, taking into account the situation marked by crises and exponential increases in the prices of goods and services.<\/p>\n
