Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Transport company Alsa Todi is recruiting another 21 Cape Verdean drivers to work in Portugal. It should be remembered that there are already 51 Cape Verdean professionals working in that company since November 2022 .<\/p>\n

The road transport company on the Setu\u0301bal Peninsula Alsa Todi, in Portugal, guaranteed that the recruitment of another 21 drivers from Cape Verde is underway to reinforce the institution’s staff.<\/p>\n

The management of Alsa Todi explained that the process is awaiting the issuance of visas by the consular authorities and the new drivers will join the 51 who are already \u201cperforming full functions in the operation taking place in Portugal\u201d.<\/p>\n

Company guarantees contract and benefits<\/p>\n

\u201cAlsa Todi is recruiting another 21 drivers from Cape Verde to reinforce this company’s staff (…). It should be remembered that all Alsa Todi workers recruited in Cape Verde are fully integrated into this company, having employment contracts and all the benefits in force at the company\u201d, stressed the management.<\/p>\n

Between the last week of October and the first week of November 2022, 51 drivers hired by Alsa Todi arrived from Cape Verde, which due to a lack of manpower in Portugal and the need for more drivers, went to the archipelago to recruit .<\/p>\n

The 51 Cape Verdean drivers who are already in Portugal are all from the island of Sa\u0303o Vicente and were hired by Alsa Todi to reinforce the public road transport service in the municipalities of Alcochete, Barreiro, Moita, Montijo, Palmela and Setu\u0301bal.<\/p>\n
